I want to talk to you about what's actually worth your focus — and what to leave alone. I'm going to use Peter Budaj as an example. A seven-year NHL vet who came to LA Kings on a PTO with nothing guaranteed. Showed up with no colors on his gear. Went on to be AHL Goalie of the Year and lead the NHL in shutouts.
